Dialer programm

is there any dialer program instead the built one? there was XDial but i think that they stopped this project. i have some problems connecting because of a bad phone line so ... is there any software?

no programs will really help you stay connected , or give you better performance , it's in the line it's self, so there isent really anything that can be done , except telecommunications hardware changes and so on , or a different line that has less noise and interfence in it ..
