did I kill my iphone 3g jailbroken doing a "restore and update" ?

Hi there

i installed the new itunes and than somehow seems to have launched automatically a "restore and update" into my unlocked and jailbroken iphone 3g 3.0. Now it is frozen to the "connect to itunes" icon and seems i cant do anything from here. do I have any solutions ?

You are flirting with iPhone Death jail breaking it IMO.

Have you tried to get it going by holding down the Home and on/off buttons ??
Have you tried to restore it again buy re connecting to iTunes... ??

And be aware that once you have it going again it wont be jailbroken and you will have to go through Jailbreaking it all again

Tell us what you have tried and havnt tried so we can help a little more

Put it in DFU (emergency recovery) mode, then restore from there. As TM says, this will return it to "out of the box" state (ie not jailbroken).
