i got my ADVC 110 canopus today and got it all hocked up but when i open i movie nothing happens dose any one know how to fix this

how i set it up

1. took the firewire 400 and connected it to my computer and canopus

2. took my xbox av cable and plugged it into the front of my canopus

3. turned on my xbox but nothing happened with imovie or any thing else

is there other things then imovie and i have imovie 7.1.4 and should i go throw Digital in or analog in when recording xbox and is there any program to record canopus
