Aperture 3 crashing

Hi there just got a quick question, I have a late 09 mini 2.26 2gb and a macbook 2.26 4mb Both under 3 months old. I have Aperture 3 on both, on the macbook it runs great, but on the mini when I try to go full screen with a .nef file it lags real bad then when I try to exit fullscreen it crashes. Just wondering if the extra two gb of ram are really making that much of a difference or if there is maybe something not working right on the mini. BTW .nef is a RAW file from a Nikon D3000 although I doubt that matters as I have tried opening the same file on both and always get the same results out of the mini. Thanks

If it's only occurring with that one file, my first guess would be an issue with the file... bad transfer, whatever. Dump it from the mini and replace it with the one from your MB.

Its happening with all .nef files on the mini

I'm going to suggest what Aperture users would suggest were this topic about Lightroom...

Try Lightroom, it's better anyway.

I was tempted to go this route, have tried the demo but for some reason with the demo I am able to open .nef but it wont show thumbnails during import.
