Windows XP only runs on Intel machine and the visualization software need a host Intel machine to make one available to XP..

So you're out of luck if you only have access to a PowerPC Mac.

You'll need "Virtual PC" to run windows on your G4. Mind you that totally emulates the windows within OS X. And the long and short of it is a very slow, poor windows experience. But there is no better on pre-intel macs.

The versions of VirtualPC that run on Power Macintosh haven't been sold for several years. You'll need to find old releases at Amazon or... God forbid.... eBay!

No, VPC or similar are not worth wasting time and money on. Buy a cheap Dell laptop or similar.

mzarcy: there is no practical way to accomplish what you want to accomplish on the Mac that you have. You need to either buy a more recent Mac (one that has an Intel processor, Apple has been making those for about five years now), or buy yourself a cheap PC if you need to run Windows XP.

What *specifically* do you need XP for anyway? It's pretty old even by Windows standards ...
