• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I'm trying to convert multiple videos I usually use handbrake and I use apple universal cause I like the file size to quality ratio but I have around 70 videos so I would like a batch conversion. Any help would be great thanks.

Are they separate files you have or what? Handbrake has a queue which you can easily have a list of videos that you want to convert and then tell it to start the encoder queue...

If the problem is the tediousness of configuring the settings for every file - then you can either use the CLI with something like this:

HandBrake • View topic - Batch encode a folder of videos

or a little further down in that thread:

HandBrake • View topic - Batch encode a folder of videos

or you can try this software which I have honestly never tried, but is supposed to make batch encoding easier with handbrake (basically a gui front end to the cli I guess):

HandBrake Queue Manager 1.0 software download - Mac OS X - VersionTracker

YMMV but at least that might help.
