Macbook Air orig. 80gb HDD wont reconize!

I bought a SSD to replace my failing 80gb orig. HDD in my Macbook air (rev a) needless to say the SSD did not reconize, needing to use my computer, i RE-installed my 80gb in hopes i could continue using my macbook until the SSD issue was solved.

now the internal 80gb wont reconize, the ZIF cable is in working order, followed the teardown instructions at Ifixit.com.

I dont kow what to do!!

Help please!
