Widescreen World of Warcraft

Can anyone tell me if WoW supports widescreen format resolution? Thanks

It does on my PC, I'll haven't tried it on my mini since I bought my 20in widescreen.

edit: I was going to try it on my mini but I realized you can't get to the menu to change it without loging in and my account isn't active.

World of Warcraft plays @ 1680x1050 (my native 20 inch widescreen resolution) without any problems. Just make sure that you have enough power to push it. My FPS did drop a little bit going from 1280x1024 to 1680x1050, but its worth it visually :mac:

n00b question I know, but how do you check the fps? I just got my iMac 20" 2GB ram with the 256VRAM and I want to see what I can push. Thanks.

but um yea its like one of the f1-12 not sure and im not near a comp with wow on it. also check the hotkey menu. it should tell ya.

I think by default it's ctrl+r isn't it?

yea it might be... you can change any of the keys in the hot key menu so if you have a laptop you wont have f13 so you can change it to what ever you want

Yea i wanna get a new i mac 20 inch to run wow. I would prolly run it under XP though i need Ventrilo to raid and my Guild hasnt changed the **** vent codec!

I just came from much great) linux and way too much (crappy) windows usage - it isn't worth mucking up a perfectly good mac with xp just for ventrillo - your guild would change it if you bug them enough. Say it's for the good of all mac users.
