Removing an app from Software update

Can anyone tell me how to exclude a software from the software update in mac osx?

iMac 27" 2.66GHz i5, 1TB HDD, 12GB RAM, OS X 10.7.3, iPod Classic 160GB,iPad 1 64GB Wi-fi, iPhone 4S
When you are prompted to install the updates, click on the show details button, and deselect the updates you do not want to install. You will have to do it every time though. I have not found a way to hide updates that you don't want to ever install.

Highlight it and push delete. If you want to see that update again in the future, simply go to Software Update > Reset Ignored Updates.
