Mail Hanging Up on Trying to Attach File

Greetings

I'm using Tiger on an iMac.

The file I'm using trying to attach is a mere 68K PNG file, and the program hangs. I have to Force Quit.

I have also restarted the machine, and the problem still occurs.

Does anyone have an idea how I can overcome this problem?

Time to experiment!

1. What happens if you use a webmail service (your email provider probably provides one)?

2. What happens if you try to attach other files rather than this one particular one?

3. What happens if you create a new account and try to use the mail client to attach the file in that account?
