Is there an Application or other method for adding Public Holidays to the Calendar App in iPhone (or to iCal on the Mac) please?

At work we use Lotus Notes - in which there is a method of importing the dates of Bank Holidays. Paper diaries always include this information.

So can it be imported into the Calendar App or iCal please?

I am looking for the UK Holidays

It seems that holidays for various countries can be downloaded from Apple for iCal. Presumably these will then sync with the Calendar App on iPhone?

Probably in duplicate, as my calendars keep doing - not the entries, just the separate calendars :(

I tried this once I got Home. It has successfully added the UK Holidays to iCal. Oddly enough, they do not appear in the Calendar App on the iPhone.

Anyone able to help with that please?

They will ..Just go to sync your iPhone as usual but go to the tab for calendars and make sure you select all calendars and you should be set...I have 3 on mine no problems

Oh and thanx for the reminder...I bet the new Cubs calendar is out !

Hope this helps

Not sure if it makes a difference but I sync the Calendars via MobileMe, rather than in iTunes.
