how to clear macbook if cd rom drive is broken?

thats my problem, im trying to sell it on ebay for parts but the cd drive is broken so a reboot with disc isnt happening. thanks in advance if anyone can help

I would suggest that if are just selling for parts , why not just pull the hdd out of it ? I mean if its just a parter then...no one should really want to trust a used drive anyway....

Just my thoughts

well it still runs, the only issue is the cdr drive now working. but removal of the hd would be a last resort.

Ok I wouldn't call that selling for parts then....
If you have another Mac connect to it in target mode and wipe it that way.
