Hey, so i torrented some movies and tv shows in .avi and i have a white macbook with tiger on it. Quicktime said i needed an update to play them, but the update was only for 10.5. Also, vlc dropped their version for tiger, mplayer didn't work, flip4mac didn't work, i dont know what to do! Does anyone know what i could use to watch my torrented videos? I'm relatively new to macs so sorry if this is obvious.
The help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you.

You can buy (or rent) the movies and buy the TV shows in iTunes. Works perfectly every time.

Torrenting copyrighted movies and tv shows is illegal.

hah, thanks! That was extremely unhelpful. Everybody torrents. If its an artist i support and the money would go to them, i buy the cd. If its a season of 24 which i would have to buy for 40 bucks, i torrent it. :(

I don't torrent. You know that doing that is only lowering the quality of entertainment, don't you? For the most part, I get my CDs and movies on the old-fashioned media: discs.

Sure, it costs money, but that goes back to the people who sell it and they can see that people have interest enough to spend their money on it, so they keep making that. It's like voting.

If you keep stealing the things you like, then they won't know you like it. It's more likely that they'll stop making it. Why?

Entertainment is a business, not some kind of service.
