Switching Profiles..

When I was in the finder window i changed the name of the account with the little house next it. now everything is missing from documents to pictures. How do i change it back?

you might want to try repairing permissions on the whole disk;
look for "utilities" then "disk utility" and select the hard drive,
you should then see an option to "repair" the disk
as i understand it, this is making sure paths or the long names of files with parent directories are correct
but yeah there is a proper way to change the home folder name and it happens in different areas;
you can change the superficial name but the computer will be referring to the old name when you change it the "wrong" way
