Hi,
I realize there are most likely many threads already created on this subject, but I have a slightly different point. I've looked all over and (please correct me if I'm wrong) I think there truly is no way to do it. My question is why? I'm no programmer, but this seems like a very simple feature that I'm sure many would find useful. I realize adding this feature probably won't boost Apple's sales or name, so is it just that Apple doesn't care enough about their users to implement this simple feature or is it a lot more complicated than that? I'm sure nobody would mind if OS 10.6.3 came out a day or two later because they decided to implement this feature.
