Adobe After Effects will not load- out of ideas

I have searched all over for ways to fix startup on Adobe After effects, but with no luck. the ONLY way I can start it is if I safe boot my computer. But I need a way to use it without safebooting my computer every time I use it. I could realllly use some help. I'm desperate.

I'm using a Mac OS X version 10.5.8
