Hi! I need help very urgently, tried search-function but I didn't find anything.

I use a macbook, and it is impossible for me to delete data on any portable data medium. I can't delete data from usb-sticks, my ipod, from an external volume. I have no idea what to do!! Usually the folder-signs disappear, but the available capacity doesn't change.

Could somebody help me...? Please...??

Yes I did. Though I don't get the connection. You do mean the trash of the macbook, not the external memory or something?

When you "delete" something, it's moved to the Trash, which is that trash can icon on the Dock. Right click it and select "Empty Trash." It's just like the Recycle Bin in Windows.

Only cooler.

However, make sure the external device is plugged in before emptying the Trash.
