I have the previous G4 iMac 17" screen.
Tiger installed, upgraded to 10.4.1.
Immediatley following installation, Tiger would not restart or shut down. It would "hang" with just the wallpaper showing. I had to manually restart it.
Situation is still the same now, with 10.4.1
How can I fix this? Or is this something Apple needs to remedy with the next .4.x upgrade?
