Weird Date Message

1.67 Ghz 17" PB w/1 GB Ram; 400 MHz PM G4, 366Mhz iBook Firewire, Nano 4GB Black
I just booted up my Powerbook and it told me that the system date was set before March (might have been may) 24th, 2001 and that some programs may not function properly because of that. Thought it was odd as the date is shown as May 28th, 2005.

I don't think it's a problem, just a random error message... I havn't rebooted yet, but I doubt the problem will be recreated.

sounds like your motherboard battery is dead or dieing. i could be wrong and i usually am.

Yeah, my main battery was at 0 when I turned on the PB, the cord had come half-unplugged. It would make sense that the MB battery would be low then...

the main battery and the MB battery don't have anything to do with eachother...

ok so a couple days ago, my brother had the same thing.. It went away so I am sure you don't have anything to worry about.
