First off, agreed; good call on making this a new thread... I would have probably missed it as a reply from the other thread.

The article reads - "Apple adopts DirectX 11 GPUs, buys AMD Radeon HD 5750" So is this a rumor or is it fact?

Nothing is really fact unless it comes from Apple's mouth. But I think this is a good enough reason to wait a tough on your imac/mac pro purchaces for a touch to see how this all plays out.
