Trying to burn a video to a DVD-R Disc

So I'm trying to burn a m4v video to a DVD-R Disc. I keep getting this error:



I've tried changing the burn speed. There are only two options 8x and 4x, and on the disc it says "16x speed up to 16x compatible". I'm not sure if that is the problem.

Any help is appreciated.

You might try switching to a different type of DVD. Try using a DVD+R instead of the -R type. Also, what application were you using to do the burn, Disk Utility?
