hi guys

i use my Mac on my desk so i have no problem with burning legs but as im running fcp my Mac heats up and i wanted to know if i down load the fan control app will it effect my 3 year warranty in anyway?

I run smcFanControl sometimes and think it is great. Everyone has an opinion on this, but I like it. It will not void your warranty.

i also use smc but i dont see that much of a difference. apple has done a fine job with the fan settings

just running fcp and exporting video and the smart fan seems to be working its not as hot as it is,

i think its best for stuff like fcp but when using normally then its fine without. but thats my view.
