Tritag has UI fail, seems to ignore what im trying to do, MusicBrainz doesnt give you manual edit

Tag & Rename on windows is near perfect, still havent found a good equivalent on the mac

That looks nice, but i'd like more control, that looks like one of those "automagical" programs. I'd like a well featured program that gives me control

Did you actually try it? Not sure what you're expecting exactly, but you can have it filter through your entire library or just one at a time. It will come back and ask you to confirm if it's ambiguous or it can do best match. And of course, no changes are applied until you give it the OK.

I found that "Simple Tagger" is absolutely solid ... you just have to make sure your tracks are in order ... the "rename file" feature is what puts it over the top!!!

I use Either MPFreaker (Mostly for artwork and Lyrics) or Media Rage Pro (Not free, but worth every $$) for my tagging needs. Media Rage will give you all the control you want but can be automated for batch operations as well.

I've been looking an alternative to the superior Helium Music Manager (Windows only :() for tagging my music.
I guess Tagr is as close as I'm going to get. Thanks for the info.
