power mac upgrade

im looking to upgrade my processor in my power mac g4 sawtooth, but i dont really want to spend the 200 or so dollars on the owc upgrade so i was wondering if I could buy a different faster processor and stick it in the machine and work just fine.
i was looking at maybe this one or something like it:
399042-B21 Processor upgrade - 1 x Intel Xeon 2.8 GHz - eBay (item 250558694353 end time Apr-05-10 02:08:43 PDT)

Its is difficult enough to get faster G4 chips to work in that machine.

An intel chip will never work with that motherbaord

No, you'll not be able to put any Intel CPU into your G4.

What even gave the idea that it was even possible to install that processor from e-Bay into your G4 Sawtooth???

There's one sure-fire way to put an Intel chip in your G4: Buy a Mac mini and put it inside the G4, then close it up.
