Un-installing dot Mac

Guys, I have a problem...

I need to get rid of .Mac from my brand new 12" iBook...

I installed the trial version before loading Tiger on top of the Panther that my baby came with...

But... I have an XDA mobile phone and some software that will allow me to sync with Entourage etc through iSync...

However, iSync won't work, as .Mac seems to supress the feature as it does its thing...

So, my super new phone and paid-for software are useless until I can delete .Mac.

I have little idea where to go on my new Mac to do this, having just migrated from years of PC usage.

Can anyone help me with this basic newbie stuff??

I don't think .mac has to do with it. Provide more detail on what u see when u try to sync ur "goodies" to ur new phone.
