Hi..

I have aperture installed on my imac 27" and have no idea how to un-install it. Someone said just drag the icon from the dock into the trash, but it just says "Remove form dock".

Coming from a windows background, un-installing most software was a task within it's own right.

how can I remove this program from my mac, please?

thanks!

I think you actually have to open up finder and go the applications folder (or wherever the installed destination was (ususally applications)) and drag it from there.
Dragging it from the dock only removes the shortcut (I'm almost certain).

Razormac is correct. Dragging the icon off the Dock will result in a "Poof" sound but that only removes the shortcut as he stated.

Additionally, since Aperture leaves files about, you might want to use one of the free uninstaller applications. I personally like "AppCleaner". It's free and can be downloaded from here.

Regards.
