I'm a mac-forum newbee so I'm sorry if this was addressed before!

I was perfectly happy with my 12 inch, late-2004, ibook until I wasn't able to download newer version of programs because I was running on 10.3.9. So, I knew it was time to upgrade.
I figured 10.5 would be best (since I can't run snow leopard). I was crushed to find out that while I could buy snow leopard for $30 from apple I'd have to fork over $150+ on eBay for it. I can't afford that right now!
Has anyone been able to find it cheaper (and reliable) somewhere else?

You can find 10.5 at other online stores...but the price will be similar.
