I just got a new macbook and when setting it up tried to transfer the files from my old macbook which were stored on a time capsule. Only a partial success. It did install everything but it was the oldest version stored on the time capsule so I am missing a year and a half's worth of photo's i-tunes downloads and emails. How can I upload the missing data from the time capsule? Matt

Did you choose the correct date of the backup?
Anyway, I've not used time capsule, only time machine backups on an external USB HD, but steps should be the same.
Open up time machine, select the items in the time line, and restore.
Does this not work?
