So I created a new partition to do a complete clean install of snow leopard and after the install went into disc utility to erase the former partition and for some reason I just can't get rid of it.

I deleted all the info but i can't seem to delete it... and I'd like to have my whole 120gb HD obviously.

here's what I'm working with. a step by step would be AWESOME.

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Just boot from your install disc holding C key down when you hear the chime until it boots to the install disc.
Select language and the go to utilities>disk utilities in the menu bar.
You should then be able to select and erase it.
Then just quit disk utility, quit installer and reboot.
