Dear All,
This is my first post.
My MacBook uses Snow Leopard 10.6.2. I wish to print to a Canon PIXMA MX860 printer. I cannot use the supplied Canon set up CD-ROM, as it does not support the OS, the principal culprit being "cannot install MP drivers". I have been advised to download and install several updates from Canon Europe. Canon New Zealand say they "should" work. As a Mac newbie, this makes me nervous! I speculate the download updates may have individual set up wizards, and after installing, enable me to print to the above printer... Presently, I intend to try the updates, but I would appreciate any help/confirmation that I am on the right path. 10.6.2 has been out for a few months now, and some users will have encountered this problem.
Cheers all!
