I'm working on a lab report for some data in my eco lab. How do you do error bars and confidence intervals in numbers?

OOps! Not an OS question. (Applications)

Can't help, but I wonder if Numbers Help has anything. You don't say where you've gone to get answers, or if this is your first attempt. Also, it might help someone who uses Numbers to know what version you have. It never hurts to identify your OS either.

Good luck!

Sounds like you're doing statistics. You should be looking into statistics software such as SPSS. Your school may have cheap licenses for you (mine did at least). Are you classes using Numbers or stats software?

Sorry I just noticed that two seconds after I posted. My class uses Excel. Almost everyone else has Vista too. I have numbers 09 on OS X Leopard. I can do most of the other functions without a problem, but it's just these two.

Combine "error bars" with your signature. That will give you Genius Bar, with some letters left over. Got an Apple Store nearby?

Ok then... next best thing is the Apple Forums, specifically the iWork or Numbers forum. (Not sure how it's broken down.) You'll be more likely to find that benevolent Numbers user who hangs around trying to help people with his/her favorite application.

Now, if you get an answer there, be sure to come back here and let us know. By the way, post the solutions/procedures here for the next guy searching for these answers!
