MAC Pro 1, 1, USB/Firewire question

Do the USB and FIREWIRE ports share the same card/bus?

According to my specs:

Peripherals and audio
Two FireWire 800 ports (one on front panel, one on back panel)
Two FireWire 400 ports (one on front panel, one on back panel)
Five USB 2.0 ports (two on front panel, three on back panel)
Two USB 1.1 ports on included keyboard
Front-panel headphone minijack and speaker
Optical digital audio input and output TOSLINK ports
Analog stereo line-level input and output minijacks

What I can not figure out is if they share the card/bus or not? Meaning are the ones at the front diff from the ones in the back (diff card/bus) or are they essentially the same?

Reason I ask is I may have to get an addidiontal Firewire Card but before I do, I wanted this confirmed.
