Hi,

I just moved to China one month ago in order to do an internship here. i have had iphone for 2 years, but had mine stolen just before i arrived here. I purchased a new one here in China in a real apple store (no fake) but learned then later on that Apple have agreed on launching their Iphones in China with a chip that disable the wifi and 3g function.
Does anyone out here know how i can go around this hardware problem and enable these functions??

BR a very frustrated Danish mac-user

You will most likely not be able to make it work since it's most likely a hardware change to restrict those services..not sure why they'd restrict WiFi though?

Regards
