wired thru router to PC

Hello,

When I first got my MBP a couple of years ago, I briefly was able to see my husband's PC on our wired home network. Then, inexplicably, we stopped being able to "see" each other. I never figured out what changed. We've been sharing files over a flash drive ever since.

When I'm at work, I can see and access a similar wired network (although I can't always see/access all files within certain folders...).

What could be different between the two networks, and what can I do so my husband and I can "see" each other again?

Did your husband install an Internet security suite or firewall of any kind?

Nope. Nothing changed. We've always used the ZoneAlarm firewall, but we use that at work, too.
