Hi There:

Just put a DVD in my MAC Mini for the 1st time. I want to remove it for a CD WITHOUT restarting my MAC.

I've tried the key 'Eject': Not working. Is there a shortcut to do this?, or simply another way? I've looked it up in the help menu (telling me to press F12), but F12 is the 'turn volume up' on my keyboard (thin keyboard with white keys).

And I can't see the DVD anywhere (which I would drop in the trash).

Thks so much for your help.

thks for your reply Tatooed. In the end, I restarted my MAC since the Disk Utility app was stuck on something like 'checking the Disk(s)'.

Prob solved, but I don't understand why I can't see the DVD, as we do with a CD.

Again, thks a mil.

Just note that there is a delay on the Eject key. You don't just tap it, you have to press and hold it for about 5 seconds before it ejects.
