$1500 a ticket !!!!

I live in Ireland and im travelling to San Diego this week for the summer on a student programe,I seen a banner on some site about the WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) and thought yeah that would be cool to travel up to san fran for a couple of days to check it out....Yeah right,not at $1500 a ticket im not !!.

Anyone going ?

Nope, I would like to, but it is expensive and so far my donationware to help pay for the ticket is not bringing in enough. One of these days I might go.

WWDC, from what I hear, is not supposed to be something like Macworld Expo where everyone is invited, bring the kids and a camera, etc.

Only professional developers are supposed to attend, and their employers are supposed to pay the admission.

Plus they get a whole lot of stuff while they are there also.. hardware, software, goodies etc...
