WHen u go into your system profiler does it show ur superdrive as a peice of hardware

The reason i am asking this is becasue my superdrive isnt working and It ISNT showing up in my systemprofiler

yea it should do as it shows my superdrive as a Mat****a...... under ATA in my system profiler

I dont know if it will be in there or in SATA on your mac but id guess it will be ATA
