HELP. i have a macbook w/ OS X 10.5.4 partitioned w/ parallels to run windows. my brother recently upgraded to snow leopard, but i couldn't open parallels, so i re-installed my OS X 10.5.4 and took all my files to "Previous System" folder. Still couldn't open parallels, reinstalled parallels (w/out partitioning the hd) and am able to open parallels/windows. but can't find my files! Does anyone know if my files are lost?

Search your drive for a .pvm file. Your Windows installation will appear like one huge file.

If you lost your .pvm file I am pretty sure your Windows installation via Parallels is gone. It is hard to say what happened to it. Did you back anything up?
