File Transfers???

Hi everyone,

I'm on a macbook and my brother in law has an HP laptop. We are on the same wireless network. How do I transfer movies I have downloaded to his HP?

We even tried to use a external hard drive and that didn't work either.

Can anyone help us out?

If the HDD is formatted in NFTS for windows MAC OS wont write to it, you could partition 32 gigs into FAT32 with the HP then use that partition to move the movies

You could do this using File sharing between Windows and Mac since you are already on the same network. Here's an example of the setup using Leopard and Windows XP but it should get you started. File Sharing With OS X 10.5 - Share Mac Files with Windows XP I had Vista specific directions bookmarked but can't seem to find them at the moment.
