Why is it that I'm only able to send some files from certain places within OS X to Mail, while other files don't have such an option ? I just exported a photo from Lightroom and upon completion of the export, my Finder window opened so I could see it. I planned on sending the .jpg to "Mail", but there was no such option.
I'm fairly certain that I've done this task before with a jpg, but now am not able to. Why is OS X so inconsistent like that ? Furthermore, I just realized how stupidly crippled the iPhone is, when you can't send a file from your MBP to it via Bluetooth. That's a common feature which has been in use since the first days of BT on dumb phones ! But that's another issue all together.
Why can't I send a photo to Mail from Finder with a right click ? And yes, I realize that I can just drag the photo to the Dock into Mail, but I forgot that before, and is not the point. I think both options offer more flexibility, especially if you don't want to keep a Mail icon on your dock.
