changing colors of folders

is there anyway to change the color of the folders from blue to something more exciting?

You can do it easily enough with CandyBar and you can pic up your icons from DeviantArt.

Either that way or once you have the folder icons Click on the icon and copy it.
The go to the folder you want to change and click on it then cmd~i to get info.
Once that window is up, in the top left corner you will see a folder. Click on it, then in the menu bar click on edit then down to paste and click on that.
You should have that folder changed to the colour you copied .... Hope this helps
