desktop icon size help

hey there, not sure if this post belongs anywhere else. if thats the case i apologize. just have one question.

is there any way I could have icons of multiple sizes on my desktop? like having a handful of small icons and then a collection of larger icons in the middle.

went to the apple store randomly to ask and didnt get much help.

There might be a 3rd party App out there to do what your asking for but i believe on the desktop its one size WHICH you can change to any size you want ..

Other than what TM has advised, the short answer is ... "don't think so". You can set all icons to your favored size through Finder > View > View Options.

Which OS are you using? That info is always useful.
