Epson printer troubles

I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX500, I installed the drivers off of the cd (mac drivers of course), it said installation is complete (no error messages), go to printer utility, click on add printer, go to add a USB printer, it shows the Epson printer on the left, but on the right it says driver not installed. I tried to download the newest drivers from Epson website and see if that works, it still doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? Please help.

I reinstalled the driver a fifth time, clicked to add the printer, and it finally worked. Weird! Anyways, I have solved this issue, and please close this thread.
