cant Skip Xvid or Divx

I cant skip ahead in a video but my GF can on her Windows laptop. Whats up with that? some settings iam doing wrong ?? on flash i can do just fine but never ever ever on Xvid and she can. same video same URL.

I have no trouble skipping forward or back in a DivX/XviD file. Maybe you need to have Perian installed?
