Should work OK. Make sure you have a backup strategy in place before you swap the drive out.

Yeah I dont really see why it wouldnt work but as far as I know, some computers only support up to a certain amount of hard drive space so for its age, I just wanted to know.

I bought a 500GB HDD for my mother's 2006 Macbook and it works perfectly! You shouldn't have any problems.
