mp4 to dvd using iDVD

Hey guys,

I have a video in mp4 format that I'm trying to burn to DVD-R using iDVD. When I preview it using iDVD, it looks fine, but after I've burned it and view it in my DVD player, the sides of the original video have been cut-off? I've burned 2 discs (one in 4:3 and 16:9) and it's the same result for both. Any help on how I can get the entire video (sides not cut-off) is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your TV is overscanning to me.

Try looking at the same disc on someone else's HDTV.
