I could not find this on Google because the sites just talked about specific programs. I am trying to bind a single hotkey (or key combination) that, when pressed, will insert my password into any password box. I want it to work anywhere on Mac, on Snow Leopard, and even on the internet. Is this possible, and if so, how? Merci

Are you looking for something that can record your password and enter it using a hot key? If so, you might want to use a macro or Apple Script but I'm not sure you can tie it to a specific key or not. You can download a free macro recorder from here and give it a try.

As for Apple Script, there's plenty of information and instructions on how to use it from Apple.

Regards.
