Hi there,

I just got a new 4GB RAM 500GB hard drive Mac and was wondering if you guys could give me a bit more information about installing Windows 7 to my Mac i know it sounds a bit of a bland question but just some more information would be great. Will i get the 64bit or 32bit and does it run nicely on Imac?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it will run fine. You'll want to install the 64-bit version to be able to address all of your RAM.

Just out of curiosity, do you buy a normal version of windows, or how does it work?

All versions of Windows 7 come with 2 discs, one for 32-bit, the other for 64-bit.

You'll probably want Home Premium.

It will run perfectly fine, you'll want to look into any issues you might have on installation, especially if you go Boot Camp style (i.e. black screen of apparent doom but not really).

There are a couple threads around. I just did it recently (last week) so PM if you've got any other questions.
