Hi, I recently purchased the Panasonic TX-P42G10 and the resolution for this TV is 1,920 x 1,080. So I wanted to be able to plug my macbook (silver 13") into it so I can watch stuff through my TV. However the maximum resolution I can receive through the TV is 1600x1024. When I change the display settings to 1,920 x 1,080 the TV just goes black.

Can anyone help me please? Thanks for your help.

Not enough info. What kind of adapter cable(s) are you using from your MacBook to the Panasonic and what input to the TV? DVI? VGA? HDMI?

Regards.
