Is a HP LaserJet 4 compatible

Is it possible to make a HP LJ4 work with Apple Imac running the latest version of Snow Leopard?

Compatibility list

Here is the link to the compatibility list of HP printers for Snow Leopard. The HP LJ4 is on the list, but you should download the Gutenprint v5.2.3 drivers listed in the article. There are also instructions for the setup. Mac OS X v10.6: Printer and scanner software

Yep, absolutely. I have an old LJ4. The nice thing is that the older printers had much of the "brains" in hardware, so the drivers were very simple. Anything that uses a PCL driver (like the LJ4, 5, 4000 and even later) will work just fine.
